Creative Mobile is Estonia's biggest mobile app developer, responsible for the racing game Nitro Nation. Though their in-house UA team had fostered a somewhat successful marketing campaign on Facebook, they found themselves incapable of further scaling. Pouring additional money into their UA budget saw no results — only an increasingly negative ROI.

This, along with negative experiences with other UA experts, left them sure that their product was incapable of breaking through to the next level.



SOLUTION

Upon a free analysis of Creative Mobile's existing activities, AdSide Media decided to step in and help. Based on their findings, they saw an opportunity for Creative Mobile to grow.

The key factor for Creative Mobile's decision to undertake this partnership was AdSide Media's profit share model. In this scenario, AdSide Media assumes all potential financial loss, and upon a successful campaign, both parties would share in the profit.

Transparency is key, and by sharing their past case studies and success stories, AdSide Media convinced Creative Mobile that their product marketing could be more effective and better optimized. This was thanks in part to the hard work of AdSide Media's in-house creatives team, which produces hundreds of ideas and creatives on a regular basis.

Their three-step approach to addressing Creative Mobile's problem consisted of:

  2. Producing and testing dozens of creatives per week
  3. A media buying approach, which optimized campaigns towards profit






RESULTS

Some specific outcomes included:

CHALLENGE

Panoramik Inc developed Mighty Party: Heroes Clash, a turn-based PvP RPG game. Although they saw encouraging organic traffc and revenue, and were primed for growth, they were also experiencing negative ROI from paid user acquisition (UA). The developer was under pressure to turn the tables and make UA profitable.


SOLUTION

AdSide Media ran a pilot campaign to measure the impact of their advertisements and roll out the most cost-effective campaign possible. Detailed analytics of the app, as well as the data bought during the campaign, revealed that turning a profit through Facebook traffic wasn't viable. So, the agency advised Panoramik to make
some tweaks to the app.

We have a project at the soft launch stage, will you help us buy traffic?
It should be understood that at the soft launch stage, the task of user acquisition is a test of hypotheses.
